Automotive / Equipment Mechanic

About the Role

Join the San José State Facilities Development & Operations team as an Automotive/Equipment Mechanic, working

independently or collaboratively in the Auto Shop to perform journey-level maintenance and repairs on automotive and

heavy equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, complete minor to major repairs, and support preventive maintenance using

computerized systems. This role also includes inspections, compliance testing, and maintaining detailed service records.
