About the Role
Van Driver Each Visitor Center has a Van Driver who is responsible for assisting clients with local travel in order to
visit incarcerated friends and family at the institution. The Van Driver plans, provides information and drives a
passenger van in the local area and on institution grounds. He/she reports to the Visitor Center Program Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. CA Non-Commercial Class C Driver's License with a valid Commercial Medical
Certificate California Department of Motor Vehicles Class A or B license, with passenger endorsement. A Motor Vehicles
Class C license is required to transport passengers in a vehicle that is designed to carry less than 10 passengers.
