Diesel Truck Mechanic

About the Role

JOB SUMMARY The diesel truck mechanic is responsible for maintaining the diesel equipment in the fleet while ensuring

all safety requirements are met. This includes repair and preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary to ensure

proper operating condition. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all types of repair and PM work on tractors and

trailers. Perform standard vehicle maintenance. Perform standard component inspections and repairs. Perform preventive

maintenance and warranty work on equipment. Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic

computer when applicable. Identify root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required. Interacts
