About the Role

Para-Transit Dispatch Under general supervision, performs para-transit dispatch duties; answers phones and enters

transit requests into computer; notifies drivers of cancellations and schedule changes; monitors status and locations of

vehicles to ensure all scheduled work is performed in a timely manner; follows established City policies and procedures

regarding the transportation of elderly and/or passengers with physical disabilities; maintains positive public

relations with a broad range of passengers in the provision of transportation services; and performs other related

duties. Works under the general supervision of the Neighborhood Center Manager; does not exercise supervisory
