Forklift Operator Transportation

About the Role

Forklift Operator (Transportation) Drives gasoline or diesel powered industrial truck equipped with forklift blades used

to lift, stack, or tier equipment and materials throughout the shipyard. Occasionally lift personnel in basket as well.

Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position. Qualification Standards

Requires previous experience or training. Must be able to follow and understand written (in English) and visual

instructions. Good driving skills needed. Must be able to operate hand and foot controls. Ability to work any shift

required. Must be able to work on-board ship while under construction. Ability to hear warning signals, read and
