Group Van Driver

About the Role

Group Van Driver Transports program participants to activity centers, the Adult Day Care Center, grocery stores, and

event locations. Picks up and transports program participants for program activities and events. Observes the specific

conditions and needs of clients, especially safety on the bus. Provides appropriate assistance and referrals. Inspects

and maintains the vehicles in good condition and keeps appropriate record-keeping of all services, vehicle inspection

reports, and usage/mileage. Maintains accurate usage of Mobile Data Computer and reports malfunction. Attends driving

safety and in-service training as required. Assists in the Home Delivered Meals operation. High school graduate with at
