ABOUT THE ROLE Amrize is looking for a Heavy‐Duty Mechanic for a permanent position located in Nanaimo, BC. Heavy Duty
Mechanics are responsible for equipment used in all areas of the shop and field. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Perform
maintenance and repairs on asphalt paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, milling equipment, excavators, bulldozers,
loaders, heavy haul truck & trailer units, and other construction machinery. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and
hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to
identify and address potential problems before they elevate. Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, brakes,
