About the Role
Unload tools from truck and unroll roofing material. Ensure there is enough material for entire roof. Attend and/or
conduct daily safety checklist. Install roofing material. Cover roof with roofing felt, asphalt strips, or other
materials. Locate and repair cracked tiles (as necessary). Fill in missing tiles (as necessary). Follow all safety
rules, policies and procedures. Make sure everyone you are working with also follows all safety rules, policies and
procedures. Roofing work can be hot and physically demanding. Roofers work outdoors in all types of weather,
particularly when making repairs. Important Qualities: Roofing is often done on steep slopes at significant heights.
