About the Role
Lead Driver/Instructor Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, the Lead Driver/Instructor oversees the
District School Bus Driver Training Program, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the school transportation system.
This role provides classroom and behind-the-wheel training for new drivers, conducts refresher and safety programs for
existing staff, and monitors compliance with state and federal transportation regulations. The Lead Driver/Instructor
may also perform driving and dispatch duties as needed. Requirements / Qualifications Possession of a valid California
Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements. Valid California School
