About the Role
The University of Southern California (USC) Department of Facilities Planning & Management (FPM) is seeking an Elevator
Maintenance Mechanic to join its team. The Elevator Maintenance Mechanic Performs standard elevator procedures, trains
other journeymen on specific skills and tasks as needed, determines whether equipment should be repaired or replaced,
and estimates the materials required for specific job components. Elevator Maintenance Mechanic: Determines materials
required for maintenance or remodeling. Purchases materials and services. Initiates requests for materials. Prepares
reports and maintenance records as needed Trains other journeymen on specific skills and tasks as required. Initiates
