About the Role
The University of Southern California (USC) Department of Facilities Planning & Management (FPM) is seeking an Elevator
Maintenance Mechanic to join its team. Responsibilities Perform standard elevator procedures and maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain elevators on the university campus. Respond to emergencies and assist trapped passengers. Determine
materials required for maintenance or remodeling. Purchase materials and services, and initiate requests. Prepare
reports and maintenance records as needed. Initiate work orders for elevator maintenance repairs. Train other journeymen
on specific skills and tasks as required. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
