About the Role
Sheriff's Department Communications Dispatcher The Sheriff's Department is recruiting experienced communications
dispatchers to dispatch and maintain continuous communication with emergency units in the field. Each center serves as
the primary 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for its respective geographic location. Basic Dispatcher, Basic
Course and receive a satisfactory work performance evaluation. Candidates must not have been convicted of a felony and
must successfully pass an extensive background investigation which includes a fingerprint check, polygraph, and
psychological evaluation. Shifts: Applicants must be available for all shifts; incumbents will be required to work
