About the Role
Substitute School Bus Driver The opportunity to be trained as a School Bus Driver Knowledge of: Motor vehicle
regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to: Maintain order under difficult circumstances, Understand and follow
verbal and written instructions, Maintain good public relations, Keep records Licenses: Possession of a valid California
driver's license. Training: The State of California requires twenty hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel training for
school bus drivers. Your training hours will be approximately 6 a.m. 2:30 p.m. with a thirty-minute lunch break.
Training hours may vary. Upon completion of training, the candidate will take written and performance tests with the
