Substitute Van Driver

About the Role

The El Dorado County Office of Education seeks Substitute Drivers to transport students with special needs within the

Sierra-Nevada foothills area. This position provides an opportunity to work with a supportive team, aiding the

transportation of students who receive special education services aged 2-22 throughout El Dorado County. Drivers are

expected to ensure the safe loading, unloading, and transport of students on their assigned routes under the supervision

of the Director of Transportation. Safely transport special education students to and from school. Load and unload

students in a safe and timely manner. Ensure vehicle and student safety during transport. Install car seats, student
