Supervising Correctional Cook Doc

About the Role

may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Under the general direction of the Food Administrator I,

Correctional Facility (CF), the Supervising Correctional Cook (SCC), Department of Corrections (DOC) directs, trains,

and supervises Cook Specialist I, CF staff and the incarcerated preparing and serving meals and storing food and

supplies at the Diet Kitchen at a correctional facility. The SCC, DOC is responsible for maintaining culinary equipment

in sanitary and clean working order, and maintaining the work area clean and orderly. The SCC, DOC interprets and

verifies compliance with regulations that govern the sanitation and safety of all aspects of the food service program.
