About the Role
Shipyard Structural Welder Labor One Staffing is hiring shipyard structural welders in San Diego. Must be able to
qualify in two gas shielded FCAW welding processes 71T-1 and 811N3 in the three positions. Knowledge of welding
characteristics of metal. Must be able to work at heights, confined spaces, and any assigned shift. Must comprehend
written and verbal instructions (in English). Welds parts in position for fabrication of vessels, tanks or other
structural assemblies. Uses carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal. May prepare workplace for welding by
cleaning and/or preheating. Frequent to continuous lifting of welding equipment. Standing, balancing, walking, climbing
