in fabricating and welding structural components for marine vessels within the shipyard environment. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures. Set up

welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines, and select appropriate welding techniques and

parameters based on material type, thickness, and joint configuration. Fabricate and weld structural components, such as

hulls, bulkheads, decks, and superstructures, using various welding processes to achieve quality welds and structural
