About the Role
Wastewater Treatment System Mechanic The Sanitation Districts clean the wastewater of over 5 million people and turn it
into resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Through the operation of 11 wastewater treatment
facilities, approximately 510 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater are treated at these facilities and 165 MGD
are available for reuse. The Palmdale Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) currently provides primary, secondary, and tertiary
treatment for a design capacity of 12 million gallons of wastewater per day (MGD) and serves a population of
approximately 150,000 people. We are now recruiting for a skilled Wastewater Treatment System Mechanic at our Palmdale
